Around 30,000 Germany visas were issued from the Bangalore consulate in 2017. Getting a Schengen German visa appointment in Bangalore when there’s such a high number of applicants can be very time consuming and bothersome. If you are applying for a Germany National visa from India, you should schedule a Germany visa appointment as follows: To schedule a German national visa appointment in New Delhi jurisdiction, contact the VFS on 03 or email them on email protected. You should normally apply at the VFS Global visa application centre in or closest to, the state in which you are documented as being resident. Please contact VFS Global if you have any doubts as to where to make your application.
Please note: For security reasons we cannot allow applicant's friends, relatives or other associates into the visa application centre. Applicants who have a disability or who are physically challenged are permitted to bring somebody to assist them.

Courier return of passports to your location of choice
Keeping in mind the health and safety of all our customers and employees in view of the ongoing COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, the courier return of passports has been made mandatory for a temporary period for all Ireland visa customers
Ireland visa customers need not to visit the Visa Application Centre to pick up their passport once it is ready for collection – the passport will be directly couriered to their location of choice (the location must be serviceable by our courier partner Blue Dart ). The fee for this service is INR 500 for deliveries across India, irrespective of the delivery location.
The courier service has been made mandatory to reduce footfall at the Visa Application Centres and limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus amongst our customers and employees. It is expected to be in place until the risk perception of COVID-19 is significantly reduced.
Other health and safety measures being undertaken at our VACs include: no-contact screening at entry, mandatory use of face-mask / gloves inside the center, sanitization, and physical distancing measures for customers throughout the visa application process.

Follow three simple steps while you apply for visa from Goa:-
If VFS Global cancels your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, it will aim to give advance notice and an alternative appointment will be offered. The next available appointment may be during the next scheduled date for the operation of the TEL. If no alternative slot is available, VFS Global will provide a full refund. The notice period does not include public holidays and weekends.
If the operation of the TEL is cancelled through no fault of VFS Global or the applicant, VFS Global will aim to offer an alternative appointment during the next scheduled date. If the alternative appointment is unacceptable or you wish to apply for a refund, please follow the instructions outlined in the terms and conditions.

Security information
For security reasons the following items will not be permitted inside the visa application centre or stored on the premises.
- All battery operated or electronic items such as cameras, audio/video cassettes, compact discs, MP3s, floppies, laptops, or portable music players.
- All bags such as travel bags, back packs, briefcases, suitcases, leather, jute or cloth bags and zip folders. Only a plastic bag containing your application and related papers will be permitted.
- Sealed envelopes or packages.
- Any inflammable item such as matchboxes/ lighters/ fuel.
- Any sharp objects such as scissors, pen knives or nail filers.
- Weapons or weapon - like objects or explosive material of any kind.
Other items may be prohibited based on security staff discretion.
Please note: The visa application centre is unable to store prohibited items. Applicants should make other arrangements to store their belongings before they enter the visa application centre.
